Does late caffeine hurt your sleep?

  • In one study, a big dose of caffeine six hours before bed still cut sleep by more than an hour.4
  • That backs a common tip: no big caffeine within six hours of bedtime.4

How it works

Show up. Learn something. Keep the streak.

A few minutes a day. Do any one thing to keep your streak, or all three for bonus points.

Gym, a walk, a pickup game, a dance class. If you moved on purpose, it counts. Rest days count too, because recovery is part of getting stronger.

Short lessons on sleep, food, fitness and the myths on your feed. Every lesson links to the research behind it.

Start with Facts or Cap: one viral health claim a day. Make your call, then Pengu shows the receipts.

Weekly friend leagues rank active days and points from lessons and games. Never weight, never calories. Leagues reset every Monday, so anyone can win.

Healthy by design

Receipts first. Rest days count.

Every lesson links to published research. Streaks reward showing up, not overdoing it. And friend leagues are built so you choose what friends can see.

Real studies only

Lessons and verdicts link to published research. No ads, no sponsors, no “trust me.”

Never about your body

No weigh-ins, no calorie counting, no before-and-after photos. Pengu celebrates showing up.

Not medical advice

Pengu teaches general health knowledge. For your own health, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

Why it matters

Healthy is hard to start and easy to drop.

Most people want to move more and want health advice they can trust. What’s missing is a reason to come back tomorrow. Pengu turns that into a game you don’t want to lose.

  • 24%

of U.S. adults met the federal guidelines for both cardio and strength activity in 20201

  • 55%

of U.S. adults use social media for health information and advice at least occasionally2

  • 66 days

was the median time for a new daily habit to feel automatic, in one study3

Figures from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (2020 data, published 2022), KFF’s Health Information and Trust Tracking Poll (July 2025), and a study by Lally and colleagues (2010), where the time ranged from 18 to 254 days.

Questions

Before you start

Is this medical advice?

No. Pengu teaches what published research says in general. For your own health, talk to a doctor or pharmacist.

Do I have to go to a gym?

No. Walks, sports, dance, home workouts and rest days all count. If you moved on purpose, it counts.

Does Pengu track my weight or calories?

No. Pengu tracks consistency and learning. No weigh-ins, no calorie counting, no before-and-after photos.

How do friend leagues work?

Each week you’re ranked with friends on active days and points from lessons and games. Leagues reset every Monday, so anyone can win, and you’ll choose what friends can see.

What happens if I miss a day?

Streak freezes cover the occasional miss. If your streak does reset, your best streak and everything you’ve learned stay. Pengu will be dramatic about it, but he’ll get over it.

Where does the health info come from?

Published studies, mostly found through PubMed, the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s research database. Every lesson and verdict links to its sources so you can check them yourself.

Do you use AI?

An AI tool helps draft summaries from the studies. A person checks every claim, takeaway and source before anything goes live, and it’s never allowed to invent a source.

What if Pengu gets one wrong?

Tell us at hello@bachnguyenclearhealth.com. We’ll re-check the research and fix it, with a note saying what changed.

Who is it for?

Anyone 13 or older who wants healthier habits without a lecture.

Why a penguin?

Because a health game hosted by a penguin is more fun than a lecture. He roasts myths, never people.

Is ClearHealth part of a hospital or the government?

No. ClearHealth is an independent company, not affiliated with any hospital, government agency or brand mentioned on this site.
